CHEK practitioners

understand that the

body is a system of

many complex inter-

related systems that

 all affect each other.

They are highly skilled

in exercise program

design for people with complex health challenges and/or to the other end of the spectrum; sports performance. Human biomechanics, orthopaedic rehabilitation, nutriton and lifestyle coaching is taught and integrated to help the client help themselves. The multidisciplinary approach to health, fitness and sports performance is scientifically based and requires extensive training academically and on one’s self. A CHEK Practitioner will bridge the gap between a Personal Trainer and Physiotherapist or Osteopath that looks at the entire human being as a holistic entity. Today, a personal trainer qualification may only take 1-2 weeks to complete, whereas to qualify as a CHEK Practitioner may take 3-6 years depending on how you progress through the training. The training consists of 4 levels via the physical/mechanical route and 3 via a nutrition, lifestyle and metaphysical route. Pre-requestite courses are also completed prior to progressing to each level, with the difficulty rising at each level with a higher clinical application.
